You're Worried about your teen, Getting them the right help starts here.

Therapy for teens and young adults in the middle of big change.

Watching your kid struggle and not knowing how to help is its own kind of awful.

You keep wondering if you missed something, or if you caused it, and neither thought helps you figure out what to do next. I get it. I do.

Where to Begin

Whether you're a parent looking for help for your teen, or you're the one who's stuck and tired of being stuck, start here.

I spent almost 30 years in schools as a teacher, a counselor, and a therapist, so I know how hard the first step is. You don't need the right words. You don't need to know exactly what's wrong. Reach out, we'll talk, and we'll figure out together if I'm the right fit. And if I'm not, I'll help you find who is.

Hi, I’m Jenna.

I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist, and I spent nearly 30 years working in schools as a teacher, a school counselor, and a therapist before opening my own practice. I've sat with teenagers on their hardest days, walked families through their worst weeks, and celebrated more graduations than I can count. Now I work with teens and young adults who are stuck in the middle of big change, and the parents who love them.

I'm a good listener. I will also call you on your stuff, kindly, when you're ready for it. Past clients have told me working with me feels like talking to a friend, or their favorite aunt, and that it wasn't scary at all. That's the goal. Therapy doesn't have to be scary. Sometimes it can even be fun.

Ways to get support:

  • Therapy for Teens

Yep, I know I look like just another adult. But this hour belongs to you, not your parents and not your school. We can talk over a puzzle, make some art, or walk and talk at the park across the street. Some days we'll go deep, some days we won't, and both count. You get to show up however you are, and you get to decide what we do with it.

  • Therapy for Young Adults

You already know something needs to change. You might even know exactly what the pattern is, and you're still stuck inside it. Knowing better and feeling better are two very different things, and that gap is where we work. Together we'll figure out what you want, what's in the way, and what your body is telling you. No quick fixes, just honest work.

  • Parent/Guardian Support

Your kid needs at least one adult who belongs entirely to them, and with me, they'll have that. Your role matters just as much, and it looks different. Quarterly check-ins are included with your teen's therapy, and if you want more support, parent coaching gives you a full hour that's all yours. You don't have to get this perfect, just supported.

You can want change and be scared of it at the same time.

Most people are both.

Send me a note. No pressure, no forms, no commitment.

Everything is figureoutable.

A NOTE FOR PARENTS

You don't need a play-by-play. You need to know your kid is okay.

Therapy works best when your kid trusts me, which means I won't be reporting back on what they tell me. I will always tell you if there's a risk to their safety, and we'll go over exactly what that means before we start.

What you can count on: quarterly check-ins on goals and progress, within what your kid gives me permission to share. And a therapist who hears your concerns too, because you're carrying a lot right now.

My office, in person or virtual, is their space. That's what makes this work.
